Governor Passalacqua met with Indian businessmen to promote yerba mate in new markets
Governor Hugo Passalacqua received businessman Anish Narang to discuss marketing strategies for yerba mate in India. The goal is to reach an initial 100,000 consumers, especially to promote exports of 500,000 tons in the first year.
This morning, Governor Hugo Passalacqua led a meeting with Anish Narang, CEO of Karavan Advisory Enterprises LLP, to discuss new possibilities for introducing yerba mate into the Indian market. It is worth noting that the commercial relationship with this company and the Asian country has been in place for almost a decade in Misiones. Currently, the initial goal set out in this commercial dialogue would be to reach a public of 100,000 people, which would imply the export of 500 thousand tons of Argentine yerba mate during the first year.
